Aim of the course is to provide a basic formation on the operation principle of the standard and state-of-the-art biomedical instrumentation. Basic principles of electronic circuitry and of the interaction between electromagnetic fields and human body are briefly recalled. Basics on antennas principles are illustrated. Both diagnostic systems (imaging systems or instrumentation based on recording of signals) as well therapeutic tecniques will be presented. .
