Marta Cavagnaro research interests are mainly related to dosimetric aspects of the interaction between electromagnetic fields and biological systems both with reference to compliance issues of mobile communication systems and to medical applications of electromagnetic fields. They include:
numerical methods for evaluating electromagnetic power absorption and temperature increase in exposed subjects,
electromagnetic fields measurement techniques,
interstitial techniques for therapeutic use of microwave energy,
ultra-wideband techniques for the remote monitoring of breath activity,
electroacoustic modelling of cochlear signals.
